Remote: Hybrid. 10% in-office and 90% remote. Offices are in Longueuil Quebec.

Introduction:

CTC is actively seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team as we engage in a critical RFP project. This role is crucial for analyzing and optimizing business processes to enhance operational efficiency and drive successful outcomes. If you possess a deep understanding of business analysis and are adept at developing strategic solutions, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and define detailed business requirements and processes alongside the project owner, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops and lead process design sessions to gather insights and drive consensus across business and IT stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases that justify the profitability and ROI of proposed changes and implementations.
  • Employ robust documentation techniques to produce clear and effective business requirement specifications.
  • Participate in feasibility studies, contribute to the development of best-practice guidelines, and assist in the implementation and rollout of solutions.
  • Map business processes, perform markup, and act as a liaison between business sectors and IT specialists to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Utilize modeling and documentation standards, techniques, and tools such as UML and BPMN to maintain high standards of clarity and usability.
  • Manage change effectively, utilizing strong communication and change management skills to support project goals and adjustments.
  • Requirements:

  • University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in business analysis, preferably in companies of similar size and complexity.
  • Certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) considered a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft 365 tools and a thorough understanding of business modeling and documentation standards.
  • Demonstrated ability in workshop facilitation, with outstanding communication and writing skills.
  • Proven track record of improving business processes and creating efficiencies that lead to measurable benefits.
