Description
The User Experience (UX) Specialist plays a key role in designing and optimizing user interfaces for IT solutions developed at CHU de Québec – Université Laval. They collaborate with multidisciplinary development teams to ensure a seamless and ergonomic user experience, taking into account user needs and best practices in human-centered design (HCD).

Participate in research, development, and implementation of ergonomic solutions for user interfaces.

Conduct user studies and task analysis to identify user needs and expectations.

Apply user-centered design (UCD) principles to enhance the ergonomics and accessibility of IT solutions.

Design and storyboard user interface mockups aligned with functional needs.

Create interactive prototypes and draft associated functional specifications.

Present mockups and prototypes to development teams to ensure proper implementation.

Work with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment to integrate UX concepts into application development.

Disseminate and ensure compliance with ergonomic and style standards within projects.

Participate in development iterations by suggesting UX adjustments based on tests and user feedback.

Conduct UX quality control by validating the alignment between developed features and defined mockups.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of UX best practices and promote their adoption.

Stay up to date on UX standards, web trends, and innovations in ergonomics.
Requirements:

Recognized experience in UX research and user experience design.

Proven experience in application design.

Strong understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles and best UX practices.

Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in ergonomics.

Good knowledge of web concepts and strategic monitoring.

Understanding of information architecture.

Mastery of observation techniques, needs collection, task analysis, and usability testing.

Proficiency in technical English.

Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies (a plus).
-
Knowledge of HTML/CSS (a plus).
