Overview:
Elections Quebec is seeking an experienced Technology Architecture Specialist to support major IT transformation initiatives. You will help plan, document, and guide the shift to a fully cloud-based infrastructure while optimizing collaboration tools and development environments to maximize cost-efficiency and modernization.
Responsibilities:

Perform detailed analysis of technological, operational, financial, and administrative aspects of complex challenges.

Propose solutions backed by complete, relevant documentation to support decision-making.

Develop architectural deliverables such as:

Plan, diagram, and document controlled evolution processes for the infrastructure in line with medium- and long-term visions.

Participate in the installation and implementation of new technologies and products, including drafting technology architecture and operational documentation.

Accompany internal teams in planning and executing digital transformation initiatives.

Technology positioning and orientation documents.

Operational guidelines and best practices.

Proofs of concept (PoC) for new technologies.

General architecture documents, comparative studies, scenario analysis, and recommendations.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology within large-scale or similar environments.

Minimum 4 years of experience performing general technology architecture work.

Completed two (2) mandates of at least 100 person-days each within the last 3 years for different clients or distinct administrative units.
